Particle size range: 0.425-0.85 millimeters.

Features: A commonly used model that is suitable for most conventional fracturing operations and has good crack support effect.

30/50 Mesh:

Particle size range: 0.3-0.6 millimeters.

Features: Used for fracturing operations that require finer particle sizes, suitable for medium pressure formations.

40/70 mesh:

Particle size range: 0.212-0.425 millimeters.

Features: Suitable for lower pressure formations, with finer particle size, it can better fill small cracks.

50/140 mesh:

Particle size range: 0.106-0.3 millimeters.

Features: Used for fracturing operations that require very fine particle sizes, suitable for low-permeability formations.

Particle size range: 0.6-1.18 millimeters.

Features: Suitable for high-pressure formations and fracturing operations that require larger particle sizes, with high compressive strength.

Distribution situation

As one of the world’s largest producers of fracking sand, the United States’ production areas are mainly concentrated in Texas, Oklahoma, and other regions, which have abundant high-purity quartz sand resources.

China’s fracturing sand production areas are mainly distributed in Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Gansu and other regions, which have vast quartz sand deposits and have gradually become important global fracturing sand suppliers in recent years.
